In 1993 a watercontamination scare hit his Manhattan neighborhood, wholesale nike shoes and he was frightened to consume water from the faucet. So he went to the grocery store and scanned the cabinets. "I was totally puzzled," recalls Bikoff. "Every brand name was creating the exact same product: clear bottles with photos of mountains and streams." He started following the drinking water business, cheap air max and the more he found out, the much more intrigued he became. He signed up for dozens of beverage publications and joined trade groups.
